Mark grew up in a large family in small town in Eastern Kentucky where he played High School Football and was active in his church. He met his wife, Vivian, at Mount Vernon Nazarene College and they were married in 1982. They have two grown children, Roman and Devin.
He attended Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. After graduation, he and Vivian moved to Upstate New York where he pastored for 7 years in the Adirondack Mountains. In 1994 they moved to Lancaster, PA where he has pastored since.
He teaches online for Nazarene Bible College. His hobbies include watching college sports (Go University of Kentucky)! And playing the piano and guitar. He also likes to read (or listen) to books on history and spiritual growth. He believes in a life-long commitment to learning.
He is passionate about building a healthy church. He especially loves seeing people come to faith in Christ and growing through study and fellowship with other believers.
